Pizza Crust:
1 whole wheat pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

Ingredients
Pizza Sauce:
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce (no added sugar)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Toppings:
- 1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Preparation
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven according to the pizza crust package instructions or to around 425°F (220°C).
Prepare Pizza Sauce: In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in the tomato sauce, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes until the flavors meld. Set aside.
Prepare Pizza Crust: Place the whole wheat pizza crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lightly coat the crust with cooking spray to enhance crispiness.
Spread Sauce: Spread the prepared tomato sauce over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
Add Toppings: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Distribute sliced cherry tomatoes, black olives, and red onion over the cheese.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish: Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
