A coffee cake in an air fryer
A piece of handmade coffee cake is the best thing ever. It’s a delicious and simple breakfast, snack, or dinner food that has the distinctive ground cinnamon coating on top.
I adore it. Using an air fryer to make cakes has never been more enjoyable.
Expert Advice:
- Any air fryer, such as the Ninja Food, Instant Pot Vortex, and other kinds of Air Fryer Ovens and Baskets, can be used with this recipe.
- This is a fantastic recipe that you can warm up in the air fryer or microwave before serving.
- To the batter, add some chopped walnuts or pecans.
- Keep baking until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Use a pan that is thinner for optimal results.
Ingredients
Cake
- Two cups of flour
- one and a half cups sugar
- Two tsp baking powder
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- Half a cup of melted butter
- 3/4 cup of milk
- One teaspoon of vanilla
- One egg
Top:
- 1/4 cup of flour
- Two-thirds cup of sugar
- Two teaspoons of cinnamon powder
- One-fourth cup of melted butter
Directions
- First, prepare the cake batter by combining all of the dry ingredients, followed by the wet components. Blend thoroughly.
- Choose the biggest pan that your air fryer can accommodate. Apply nonstick frying spray on it.
- Fill the pan with batter.
- Next, prepare the topping by combining everything in a small bowl. Sprinkle it over the cake after thoroughly mixing.
- For 25 to 35 minutes, place the pan in the air fryer and set the temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Note: The wattage and thickness of the cake will determine how long your air fryer takes to cook; the thicker the cake, the longer it will take. Add more time if you need it. The toothpick should come out clean in the center.
- Before slicing, allow it cool slightly.
- Serve, plate, and savor!
