A Tasty and Nutritious Recipe to Make Bread at Home for Breakfast
Components:
- Two cups of whole wheat flour
- One cup of oatmeal
- One tablespoon of yeast that has been dried
- One teaspoon of salt
- Two tablespoons of maple syrup or honey
- One tablespoon of olive oil
- One and a quarter cups of warm water
- Nuts or seeds such as chopped walnuts, flaxseeds, or sunflower seeds can be sprinkled on top.
Getting ready:
Prepare the Yeast Blend: Combine the yeast, warm water, and a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup in a small basin and stir until the yeast dissolves. Let it sit for five to ten minutes, or until it foams. Because it initiates the yeast’s activity, this stage is crucial.
Mix the dry ingredients together: Combine the oats, salt, and whole wheat flour in a large bowl. Mix well.
Combine the ingredients: Add the remaining honey or syrup, olive oil, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough begins to form. It should be manageable despite being slightly sticky.
Work the dough: Put the dough on a floured surface and work it for ten minutes or so. Add extra flour if the dough is too wet. Your bread will have a nice texture since kneading makes the dough more pliable.
First action: Line a bowl with oil, cover with a damp cloth, and place in a warm location for about an hour, or until the dough has doubled in size.
Punch the dough down and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a baking pan that has been oiled and let it rise for another half hour.
Bake: Before using, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). You can top the toast with nuts or seeds if you’d like. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the bread sounds hollow when you tap it and the top is golden brown.
Before slicing, allow the bread to cool. Savor a slice of bread with your preferred topping or spread.
A wonderful way to start the day is with this bread. In addition to being tasty, it is healthy, providing you with minerals and long-lasting energy. Enjoy the process and the delicious result!
Have fun!
