Air-Fried Cheesy Mozzarella Stuffed Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients:(Servings: 6)
2 lbs ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the meatloaf:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until fully combined.
Stuff with mozzarella:
Shape half of the meat mixture into a loaf on a parchment sheet. Add a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center. Top with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges tightly around the cheese.
Air fry the meatloaf:
Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C). Carefully place the meatloaf into the air fryer basket. Cook for 35–40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle additional mozzarella on top to melt.
Tips and Variations:
1. Use high-quality ingredients: Choose fresh and high-quality ingredients, such as ground beef and mozzarella cheese, to ensure the best flavor and texture.
2. Don’t overmix: Mix the meat mixture just until the ingredients are combined, and avoid overmixing to prevent a dense and tough meatloaf.
3. Add some spice: Add some dried oregano, basil, or thyme to the meat mixture for an extra boost of flavor.
4. Use different types of cheese: Experiment with different types of cheese, such as cheddar, parmesan, or provolone, to find your favorite combination.
