Air-fried macaroni and cheese

  1. One-half cup of elbow macaroni
  2. One cup of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (plus more for garnish)
  3. One teaspoon of dried mustard
  4. Half a teaspoon of salt
  5. Half a teaspoon of black pepper
  6. 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  7. One cup of room-temperature milk
  8. Half a cup of room-temperature heavy cream

DIRECTIONS

  • If your model calls for it, preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  • Add the macaroni, garlic powder, salt, pepper, dry mustard, and shredded cheese and stir to combine.
  • After adding the ingredients to the air fryer pan, cover with heavy cream and milk. Make sure the milk covers all of the pasta.
  • For 20 minutes, set the air fryer to cook. Take the pan out of the air fryer and stir the contents halfway through the cooking time.
  • After one minute, take out the pan and, if you want, sprinkle more cheese on top.
  • Continue cooking for one more minute to melt the cheese.
