These golden, flaky pastries are filled with a delicious spiced apple filling and can be made in just 15 minutes!

Ingredients:

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced

2 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)

½ tsp cinnamon

½ tbsp lemon juice

½ tbsp cornstarch (to thicken the filling)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar & sliced almonds for topping (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the Filling:

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch.

Stir and cook for 3-5 minutes until the apples soften and the mixture thickens. Let it cool.

Assemble the Pastries:

Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into equal squares or rectangles.

Spoon the apple filling onto half of the squares.

Cover with another pastry square and press the edges together. Use a fork to seal.

Brush & Air Fry:

Lightly brush the top with egg wash for a golden finish.

Place in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes until golden and flaky.

Garnish & Serve:

Dust with powdered sugar and sprinkle sliced almonds on top. Serve warm!

Tips for the Best Pastries:

Use store-bought apple pie filling for a quick version.

Try different fillings, like Nutella, banana, or berries.

For a crispy texture, don’t overcrowd the air fryer.
