Description
Have you ever tried bacon-wrapped pickles? If not, you are definitely missing out! This is a delicious appetizer that is perfect for any party. Plus, it’s really easy to make. You just need a few ingredients and your air fryer. Let me show you how it’s done.
Ingredients
- 8-10 large whole pickle spears
- 8-10 slices bacon
Instructions
- Prep the Ingredients: Start by patting your dill pickles dry with a paper towel. This step is important as it helps the bacon stick to the pickle and crisps up better in the air fryer.
- Wrap the Pickles: Take a strip of bacon and wrap it around a pickle, starting from one end and working your way to the other. Ensure the bacon overlaps slightly with each wrap so it covers the pickle completely.
- Secure the Bacon: Use a soaked toothpick to secure the bacon at both ends. This will prevent it from unraveling during the cooking process.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the Pickles: Place the bacon-wrapped pickles into the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not touching. You might need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook: Air fry the bacon-wrapped pickles for 10-12 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and fully cooked.
- Serve: Carefully remove the hot pickles from the air fryer (they’ll be hot!) and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them as is, or with a side of ranch dressing for dipping.
Equipment
- Cooking Spray
- Parchment Paper
- Toothpicks, Soaked in water for 20-30 minutes.
