Air Fryer Butternut Squash
Ingredients:
1. One medium (2-pound) butternut squash
2. Two tablespoons of olive oil
3. One teaspoon of salt
4. Half a teaspoon black pepper
5. Half a teaspoon of optional garlic powder
6. Half a teaspoon of optional paprika

1. Set the air fryer’s temperature to 400°F, or 200°C.
2. Cut the butternut squash into 1-inch cubes after peeling and seeding it.
3. Combine squash, garlic powder, salt, pepper, olive oil, and paprika (if using) in a bowl.
4. Place the squash in the air fryer basket in a single layer; if needed, cook it in batches.
5. Cook, shaking halfway through, until soft and caramelized, 12 to 15 minutes.
6. Warm up and serve.
*Modifications*
1. To make it sweeter, add brown sugar.
2. Add chopped fresh herbs (thyme, sage) and stir.
3. Add various seasonings (coriander, cumin).
4. Add chopped nuts or crispy bacon on top.

1. Select heavy, firm squash.
2. To make peeling easier, use a vegetable peeler.
