Air Fryer Cajun Potatoes

Easy Cajun potatoes made in the air fryer! These little air fryer cajun potatoes are everything you would want them to be. They’re crispy, full of flavor, and so simple to make. They make the perfect side dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb baby potatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 Teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Fresh parsley to garnish
  • Instructions

    1. Scrub and wash the baby potatoes clean. Pat them dry and cut them them into halves. Transfer the potatoes to a bowl.
    2. Preheat the air fryer to 380F /190C for 3-5 minutes.
    3. Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes, add salt and, black pepper and cajun seasoning.
    4. Toss to combine. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with oil, then carefully arrange the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overlapping.
    5. Air fry the potatoes for 15 – 20 minutes or until fork tender and crispy on the edges, giving the air fryer basket a shake halfway through the cooking time.
    6. Serve and enjoy as is or with any dipping sauce of your choice.
    7. Oven instructions

      • Preheat the oven to 425F / 220C.
      • Cut the potatoes into even sizes and pat them dry completely before you season.
      • Arrange the potatoes on a rimmed baking sheet in a single layer, preferably cut side down.
      • Roast for 20 – 25 minutes or until fork tender and fluffy on the inside. Serve and enjoy!

      Cajun seasoning ingredients

      • 2 teaspoon oregano
      • 2 Tablespoons smoked paprika
      • 1 teaspoon thyme
      • ½ tablespoon onion powder
      • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
      • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
      • 1 teaspoon onion powder
      • Black pepper to taste

      Mix all to combine and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
