Air fryer carrots make the perfect side dish or snack. These are easy to prepare and full of natural sweetness and flavor. Switch the seasoning to enjoy a variety of flavors with these roasted carrots.
Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp paprika optional
Instructions
- Wash and clean the carrots. Wipe them dry with a kitchen napkin.
- Scrape out the skin and slit into halves or dice into desired shapes.
- Transfer them to a mixing bowl. Drizzle olive oil, followed by the seasoning. Toss them
- Toss them to mix well so that the carrots are well-coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Then, transfer the seasoned carrots into the air fryer.
- Arrange them in a single layer for even cooking.
- Air fry the carrots at 375°F (190°C) for 8 – 10 minutes or till they reach the desired doneness.
- Once done, remove and serve hot.
Notes
If using baby carrots, there is no need to peel them; wipe them with a clean kitchen napkin and add seasoning. Otherwise, scrape out the skin and slit into halves or dice into desired shapes.
If you want a tender texture, roast for another 1 – 2 minutes. Timing may also vary depending on the size and type of air fryer.
