Air Fryer Cheese-Stuffed Garlic Butter Burgers
Ingredients:
For the Burgers:
1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 works great)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar (for stuffing)
Garlic Butter:
3 tbsp butter (melted)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp fresh parsley or dried Italian herbs
1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional, for a little heat)
Instructions:
Make the Patties:
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt & pepper.
Divide into 8 small portions.
Flatten each portion into a thin patty. Place cheese in the center of 4 of them, then top with the other 4 and seal the edges well to form 4 cheese-stuffed patties.
Preheat Air Fryer:
Set it to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Air Fry:
Lightly spray the basket with oil or use parchment paper.
Place patties in the basket (don’t overcrowd).
Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway. Internal temp should reach 160°F (71°C).
Garlic Butter Finish:
While the patties cook, mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and chili flakes.
Once done, brush burgers generously with garlic butter.
Serve Hot:
Delicious on their own, or with buns, mashed potatoes, or pasta (like the one in your image)!
Tips:
Want extra juicy patties? Add 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce to the beef mix.
Make them ahead and refrigerate (or freeze) the stuffed patties before cooking.
Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness—no guesswork.
