Cheesy Bacon Potatoes are a breeze to make in the air fryer. These delicious bites are packed with crispy potatoes, savory bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and a hint of onion. Let me show you how simple it is to prepare this irresistible dish!
Ingredients
- 2 large Russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Start by scrubbing your potatoes, dry them with a paper towel.
- Using a sharp knife, cut your potato into slices about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the sliced potatoes, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Lay your foil out, cutting 4 pieces large enough to fold your potatoes around them.
- Add about 1/4 of the potatoes to each pack, making four foil packs.
- Close the foil packs closed by folding up the sides and pinching the edges to seal.
- Set into the potato packages air fryer for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees F, air fryer setting.
- I checked my potatoes at around 12 minutes, and they were done, so I removed them from the air fryer and, topped them with shredded cheese, and returned to the air fryer for a couple of minutes until the cheese melted.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
