Ingredients
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperautre
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Confectioners Sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoon Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1 can crescent dough
Instructions
- In a large bowl, use a mixer to blend the cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and granulated sugar.
Set aside. - Cut your crescent dough into smaller, triangular pieces for the Danish. Roll up the sides a little on the edges to create a slight crust for each to keep the filling in.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture into the middle of each dough piece.
- Then, add a tbsp of cherry pie filling to the top.
- Place each Danish into the air fryer basket; depending on the size of your basket, you may need to do more than one batch.
- Air fry at 330 degrees F, for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown
- Remove from the air fryer. Place on a cooling rack.
- Mix the confectioner’s sugar and heavy whipping cream to create the glaze.
- Once the Danish are thoroughly cooled, drizzle each Danish with the glaze.
