Air Fryer Cherry Cream Cheese Danish

Description

Air Fryer Cherry Cream Cheese Danish is a fantastic treat. You can make it for your family in minutes. This is a great way to start any day off. Paired with a cup of coffee, you are on your way to a delicious homemade breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheeseroom temperautre
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 can crescent dough

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, use a mixer to blend the cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and granulated sugar.
  • Set aside.
  • Cut your crescent dough into smaller, triangular pieces for the Danish. Roll up the sides a little on the edges to create a slight crust for each to keep the filling in.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture into the middle of each dough piece.
  • Then, add a tbsp of cherry pie filling to the top.
  • Place each Danish into the air fryer basket; depending on the size of your basket, you may need to do more than one batch.
  • Air fry at 330 degrees F, for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown
  • Remove from the air fryer. Place on a cooling rack.
  • Mix the confectioner’s sugar and heavy whipping cream to create the glaze.
  • Once the Danish are thoroughly cooled,  drizzle each Danish with the glaze.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
