Ingredients
- 16 ounces Buttermilk Biscuits, Trader Joe’s or Pillsbury
- 8 Breaded chicken tenderloins, Aldi Red Bag or Trader Joe’s Frozen Breaded Tenderloins
- ½ cup maple syrup
Scrambled Eggs Optional:
- 4 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons whole milk, or heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Place the frozen breaded chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set cook time for 12-15 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the air fryer and set it aside. Place the prepared biscuits in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each biscuit. Air fry at 325 degrees F (163°C) and set cook time for 8-10 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- To assemble the sandwiches, split the baked biscuits in half. Place a piece of cooked chicken between two halves of a biscuit. Drizzle with maple syrup and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm Air Fryer Chicken Biscuit Sandwiches with extra maple syrup on the side for dipping if desired.
Optional Scrambled Eggs:
- To make scrambled eggs on the stove, Add the eggs, salt, and black pepper, mix, and whisk well. Then, over medium-high heat, scramble the eggs and remove them from the heat. Place the scrambled eggs underneath the cooked chicken.
