Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
Instructions
- First, preheat air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Use a meat mallet to pound the chicken to ½ inch thickness. Trim any fat.
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Place on a large plate.
- Drizzle olive oil on top of each breast. Season all over with garlic powder, paprika, sea salt, pepper, and onion powder.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer.
- Air fry for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Lastly, remove chicken from the air fryer. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Then, serve!
Notes
- Use a meat mallet or the bottom of a mug to pound out the chicken. This allows it to cook faster and become more tender.
- Completely thaw frozen chicken before making this recipe.
- Feel free to adjust the spices to suit your taste.
- All air fryers are different. If needed, add some cooking time.
- Chicken is done when it has reached 165 degrees Fahrenheit internally. Use a meat thermometer to measure.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- To reheat, add chicken to the air fryer. Lightly spray with nonstick spray. Air fry at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 to 3 minutes, until warm.
