Air Fryer Chicken Chimichangas

Ingredients

8 oz package cream cheese

8 oz Pepperjack cheese, shredded

1 1/2 Tbsp taco seasoning

1 lb cooked chicken, shredded

8 flour tortillas

Cooking spray

Shredded cheddar cheese

Green onions, for garnish

Sour cream

Salsa

Instructions

Prepare the Filling (Time: 5 minutes):

In a large bowl, stir together the cream cheese, Pepperjack cheese, and taco seasoning until well combined.

Fold in the shredded cooked chicken until the mixture is evenly combined.

Assemble the Chimichangas (Time: 5 minutes):

Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the flour tortillas.

Tuck in the sides of each tortilla and roll up tightly to form a burrito shape.

Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down in a lightly greased air fryer basket or tray.

Preheat the Air Fryer (Time: 3 minutes): Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.

Cook the Chimichangas (Time: 25 minutes):

Spray the tops of the tortillas with cooking spray.

Place the chimichangas in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch each other.

Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Carefully turn the chimichangas over, spray again with cooking spray, and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes until both sides are crispy and golden.

Serve:
