Ingrediet
- 1 can chickpeas drained
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon coriander (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chickpeas on paper towels to soak up any extra moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, add olive oil, salt and spices. Mix to combine.
- Transfer chickpeas to the bowl. Mix gently till all the chickpeas are well coated.
- Pour seasoned chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry the 12 to 15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Serve the chickpeas immediately. Or let cool and store in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
Notes
- No need to preheat the air fryer.
- Make sure to start with dry chickpeas. Drain and pat dry with paper towels. If time permits it’s ok to air dry them for up to 30 mins before air frying.
- Properly drained and dried chickpeas ensure the seasoning stick.
- Do not over crowd the basket. Place on a single layer.
- Air fryer chickpeas lose crispness as they cool. If you want to store for later, consider re-crisping it in the air fryer for 2 to 3 mins.
