Air Fryer Chocolate Almond Cake Recipe
A rich, moist chocolate cake with nutty almond flavor, made effortlessly in the air fryer!
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour (or almond flour for gluten-free)
½ cup cocoa powder
½ cup almond flour (for extra nuttiness)
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup melted butter or coconut oil
¾ cup brown sugar or honey
½ cup milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
2 eggs (or flax eggs for vegan)
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup chopped almonds (plus extra for topping)
½ cup dark chocolate chunks or chips
Instructions:
Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and grease a 6-inch cake pan.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Mix Batter: Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until smooth. Fold in chopped almonds and chocolate chunks.
Transfer to Cake Pan: Pour the batter into the greased pan and top with extra almonds.
Air Fry: Bake at 320°F (160°C) for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with slight crumbs.
Cool & Serve: Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm or with a drizzle of melted chocolate!
