Do you love donuts, but don’t love all the calories that come with them? If so, then you’re going to love this recipe for air fryer cinnamon sugar donut holes! They are delicious and much healthier than traditional donuts. You won’t even miss the frying oil!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
Cinnamon-Sugar Coating Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking powder, and sugar.
- In another mixing bowl, mix the egg, melted butter, and milk.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
- Knead until the dough forms.
- Then grease your donut pan with olive oil.
- Fill your donut pan up, and then place the pan into the air fryer basket, set the temperature to 320 degrees F, for 7-10 minutes.
- Let cool slightly, then roll into melted butter and then into the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
