  • 3 large eggsseparated
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheesesoftened
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon saltoptional


  1. Preheat your air fryer to 300 degrees F (150°C) for a few minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Make sure there are no traces of yolk in the whites, as it can affect the fluffiness of the cloud bread.
  3. Add the cream cheese and, if desired, the salt and garlic powder to the egg yolks. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, add the cream of tartar to the egg whites.
  5. Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form. This will take a few minutes, and the egg whites should be glossy and hold their shape.
  6. Gently fold the egg yolk and cream cheese mixture into the beaten egg whites. Be careful not to overmix; you want to keep the mixture fluffy.
  7. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or use air fryer silicone mats for easy cleanup.
  8. Scoop spoonfuls of the cloud bread mixture onto the parchment paper in the air fryer basket, forming rounds about 3 to 4 inches in diameter. Leave space between them to allow for expansion.
  9. Place the air fryer basket in the preheated air fryer.
  10. Air fry the cloud bread at 300°F (150°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and have a slightly crispy exterior.
  11. Remove the cloud bread from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  12. Serve the cloud bread as a low-carb bread alternative or as a base for sandwiches. You can also use them as a burger bun or for other creative sandwich fillings.
