Make crispy, creamy Air Fryer Cream Cheese Rangoon in just minutes! This easy recipe offers a healthier take on the classic appetizer with golden, crunchy wontons filled with a savory cream cheese mixture.
Ingredients
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chives, fresh, diced
- 1/2 cup dipping sauce
Instructions
- In a small bowl mix together the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and diced chives.
- Place your wonton wrapper on a flat surface, then add a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture In the center of the wrapper.
- Fold up the corners, or use the pocket style of folding, here is a great YouTube Video if you have never folded a Rangoon before. I usually brush the edges of the wrapper with water.
- Place wontons into the air fryer basket, in a single layer, and spray the outside of the wrappers with either nonstick spray, olive oil spray, or brush with olive oil. Set the temperature to 375 degrees f, and set the cooking time for 8-10 minutes. Remove when golden brown.
