Ingredients:

150g salted butter, at room temperature

1/4 cup finely chopped fresh continental parsley

4 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tsp sea salt flakes

300g pkt crumpets, halved

100g (1 cup) pre-grated 3 cheese blend

Combine butterparsleygarlic and salt in a bowl. Spread generous teaspoonfuls over each crumpet half. Scatter a generous pinch of cheese over half of the crumpet halves.

Air fry for 8 minutes at 180C until golden and cheese is melted.
Step 4
To serve, brush over remaining garlic butter.

RECIPE NOTES:

To make in the oven:

Place the crumpet ‘loaf’ into a baking dish and cook at 180C for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.

TIPS:

1. Choose the right crumpets: Look for crumpets that are fresh and have a good texture. You want them to be soft and slightly springy.

2. Don’t over-garlic: While garlic is a key flavor component, too much can overpower the other flavors. Start with a moderate amount and adjust to taste.

3. Use high-quality cheese: A good melting cheese like mozzarella, cheddar, or provolone will make a big difference in the flavor and texture.

4. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer: Cook the crumpets in batches if necessary, to ensure they have enough room to cook evenly.

5. Keep an eye on the temperature: Adjust the air fryer temperature as needed to prevent burning or undercooking.

6. Add some herbs: Fresh or dried herbs like parsley, thyme, or oregano can add a bright, freshness to the dish.

7. Experiment with different seasonings: Try adding some dried or fresh chili flakes for a spicy kick, or some grated lemon zest for a burst of citrus.

8. Serve immediately: For the best results, serve the garlic bread hot, straight from the air fryer.

9. Get creative with toppings: Consider adding some caramelized onions, roasted garlic, or sliced meats to take the dish to the next level.

10. Clean the air fryer: Don’t forget to clean the air fryer basket and pan after use to prevent any stuck-on food from affecting future dishes
