Air Fryer Egg Bites –I have been experimenting with the air fryer, and it has become my new favorite appliance. One of the recipes I’ve tried is these Air Fryer Egg Bites!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup milkor heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup vegetablesdiced, (e.g., bell peppers, onions, spinach)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher saltor adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teapoon black pepperor adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup cooked baconcooked, or cooked sausage
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese(e.g., cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)
  • Instructions

    • If using, cook your bacon or sausage ahead of time and crumble or chop into small pieces. Finely dice your chosen vegetables.
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk (or cream), salt, and pepper until well combined. Stir in the shredded cheese, cooked meat (if using), and diced vegetables.
    • Lightly grease silicone egg bite molds or small ramekins that will fit in your air fryer basket. If you don’t have egg bite molds, you can also use a muffin pan suitable for the air fryer.
    • Evenly distribute the egg mixture among the prepared molds. If desired, sprinkle additional cheese or herbs on top for extra flavor.
    • Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C) if your model requires preheating. Carefully place the filled molds in the air fryer basket.
      • Cook for about 8-12 minutes, or until the egg bites are set and lightly golden on top. The exact time might vary depending on your air fryer model and the size of your egg bites.
      • Once cooked, let the egg bites cool in the molds for a few minutes before removing. They should pop out easily if the molds were greased beforehand.
      • Serve the egg bites warm, garnished with additional herbs or a side of your favorite sauce.
