Air Fryer Egg Salad Sandwich
A deliciously warm and toasty egg salad sandwich made right in the air fryer!
Ingredients:
4 large eggs
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped chives or green onions (optional)
4 slices of bread (white, wheat, or sourdough)
1 tbsp butter (for spreading)
2 slices of cheese (optional)
Instructions:
Air Fry the Eggs – Place eggs in the air fryer basket and cook at 250°F (120°C) for 15 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath for 5 minutes, then peel and chop.
Make Egg Salad – In a bowl, mix chopped eggs, mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, and chives.
Assemble Sandwich – Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Place egg salad on an unbuttered side, add cheese (if using), and top with another slice, buttered side out.
Air Fry – Place the sandwich in the air fryer at 370°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
