Air Fryer French Bread Pizza

Equipment

  1. 1 Sharp bread knife
  2. 1 Air fryer

Ingredient

    • 1french bread baguette
    • ½ cuppizza sauce
    • ½ cupcheddar cheese
    •  cupmozarella cheese
    • ¼ cuptomatoes sliced
    • ¼ cupgreen pepper sliced
    •  cupred onion sliced
    •  cupblack olives sliced
    •  cupbasil fresh
  • 2 tablsepoonolive oil optional

Instructions

    • Preheat the Air Fryer at 200 degrees C / 400 degrees F
    • Slice a loaf of 1 french bread. Cut in half lengthways and then into smaller pieces as needed. Cut into sizes based on the size of your air fryer. I had 6 cut pieces altogether.

    • Spread a layer of the 1/2 cup pizza sauce on the cut side of the bread.

  • Add on either grated 1/2 cup cheddar cheeseor torn cheese.

  • Top with your favourite pizza toppings 1/4 cup tomatoes

  • Sprinkle some more cheese and drizzle some 2 tablsepoon olive oil

  • Either place the pizza directly in the air fryer or use a baking sheet / aluminium foil/parchment paper to catch the cheese
  • Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket

  • Air Fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey. If the pizza crust begins to brown too fast, turn down the temperature.

The cooking time may vary based on the type of air fryer and the pizza.

Serve immediately or allow to cool slightly then pack into containers for lunch or picnics.
