Description

There is nothing better than sitting down and watching a movie and having an entire bowl of Air Fryer Fried Olives. If you are looking for an amazing appetizer or snack that the entire family will love, this is one of my personal favorites.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces stuffed green olives
  • 2 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika or chili powder
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Start by making your breading stations. In the first bowl: Add your eggs, whisk well, with a fork. Then, in the second bowl, mix the flour, paprika, and garlic powder. In the third bowl, add the Panko Bread Crumbs.
  2. Drain the juice from the olives, and use a paper towel to dry them off. Then dip them into the flour, the egg, and then the panko. As you coat them, set them aside on a plate.
  3. Spray them generously with the cooking spray.
  4. Place the olives into the air fryer basket, set the temperature to 400 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip the olives over, spray again with cooking spray, and air fry for another 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Plate, serve, and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

Note: The cooking spray will help them get nice and crispy. Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray. This way, the olives will not stick. Nothing is worse than air frying something and being done and realizing that the breading all comes off. Depending on your air fryer, you either need to spray it or use a parchment paper liner.
