Air Fryer Fried Rice with Chicken
Although it isn’t conventional, this Air Fryer Chicken Fried Rice is tasty and simple to make! Try this unique method for making homemade chicken fried rice if, like us, you enjoy using your air fryer!
Components
- Two cups of cooked white rice
- Half a teaspoonful of onion powder
- Two tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oil from sesame seeds
- Sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon
- One teaspoon of ground ginger
- One cup of cooked chicken cubes
- Two eggs
- One cup of frozen carrots and peas
- Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
Directions
- Combine the rice, ginger, sesame seeds, sesame oil, soy sauce, onion powder, and cooked chicken in a big bowl.
- Put the mixture in a dish that will fit in the basket of your air fryer.
- 5 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Take out and mix the rice. Pour over the whisked egg mixture.
- Cook for three minutes at 350°F.
- Stir in carrots and peas. Cook for five minutes.
- Add sliced green onions and more sesame seeds as garnish.
Remarks
- Half a cup of chopped onion is required if you wish to use entire onions rather than onion powder.
