Air Fryer Ground Beef Perfect for busy weeknights, crispy ground beef can be cooked in 5 minutes in an air fryer and used in any dish calling for fried ground beef or taco meat. The best part is that more lean meat is produced as the fat drains during cooking.
I’m sorry it took me so long to try this recipe for ground beef cooked in the air fryer. This is the simplest and most straightforward technique to cook ground beef.
Say goodbye to waiting for the pot to heat up and the ground beef to cook while standing close to the stove. Eliminate the burden of choosing between emptying the fat into the sink and using a dish towel to wipe it off a heavy pan in order to extract every last drop.
Ingredients For Air Fryer Ground Beef:
- One pound of ground beef
- One tsp salt
- One tsp black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- Teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions For Air Fryer Ground Beef:
- Heat up the air fryer to 375˚F. Using a wooden spatula, place the ground beef in the air fryer basket and split it up.
- For three minutes, air fried ground beef. Take out the air fryer basket and use a gentle touch to break up the ground beef chunks. It’s possible to still see pink, raw meat.
- Once the meat is done and no longer pink, give it another minute in the air fryer.
- To coat the ground beef, add salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, and garlic powder. The spiced ground beef should be air-fried for a further minute to get crispy and brown.
- Move the meat onto a platter. If the meat seems dry, you can add a tablespoon of water and stir. You can dispose of the fat that collects at the bottom of the air fryer tray.
Notes For Recipe:
- Instead of using the seasonings for the taco meat, you can use taco seasoning.
- For added flavour, sauté chopped onions alongside the meat.
- Remaining ground beef should be kept in the refrigerator for five to six days in an airtight container. It remains like way in the refrigerator. To prepare a quick meal, I always have a jar of cooked ground beef in the refrigerator.
- Reheat: You can use a microwave to reheat the ground beef. It will become crispy and dry when reheated in an air fryer. If necessary, drizzle with some sauce or water.
