 Introduction:

This creamy, cheesy hashbrown casserole is loaded with flavor, topped with melty cheese, and finished with a perfectly golden crust in the air fryer. No oven needed!  Ingredients:

3 cups frozen shredded hashbrowns (thawed)

1 cup sour cream

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom for vegetarian option)

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

½ cup finely chopped onion

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp melted butter

Optional Topping:

½ cup crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers

1 tbsp melted butter (to mix with topping)

 Instructions:

 Mix the Casserole Base:

In a large bowl, combine:

Thawed hashbrowns

Sour cream

Cream of chicken soup

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar

Chopped onion

Garlic powder, salt, and pepper

2 tbsp melted butter
Mix everything until well combined.

 Prepare Air Fryer Dish:

Lightly grease a 7-inch round or square baking dish that fits your air fryer basket.

Spoon the hashbrown mixture into the dish and spread evenly.

Optional: Mix crushed crackers or cornflakes with 1 tbsp melted butter and sprinkle over the top.

 Air Fry the Casserole:

Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Place the dish in the air fryer basket.

Air fry for 18–22 minutes, or until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.

In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle on extra cheese if desired and continue cooking until melted.
