- 2 chicken breasts (1 chicken breast per person)
- 4 rashers of beef (1 or 2 per chicken piece)
- 6 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 50g grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, gouda or parmesan)
Details to follow
- Set the timer for ten minutes and place the chicken breasts in the basket of the air fryer at a temperature of 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit). If you have a tiny air fryer basket, you may only be able to insert two chicken breasts at a time. After five minutes, the bird should be turned over.
- To take the chicken breasts from the oven after ten minutes of cooking time, use some tongs or a fork to retrieve them, and then wrap each chicken breast in one or two rashers of beef. The use of a cocktail stick is an option for maintaining the position of the rashers.
- Once again turning the chicken over halfway through the cooking process, place the chicken that has been wrapped in beef back into the basket of the air fryer.
- Upon reaching the conclusion of the cooking period, remove the basket from the air fryer and apply the barbecue sauce in an even layer to each chicken breast.
- On top of the barbecue sauce, sprinkle the grated cheese that has been grated.
- For a further two to three minutes, or when the cheese has melted and the barbecue sauce is hot, continue to air fry the food.
- First, take the food from the air fryer, and then, if you used cocktail sticks, remove them immediately.
- By cutting into a chicken or using a meat thermometer, you may determine whether or not the chicken has reached the desired level of doneness.
- Serve with the side dish that you enjoy the most.
