Amazingly, this chicken recipe requires only a few ingredients that you may already have in your pantry!
Ingredients
- 3 Chicken leg quarter
- 2–3 tablespoons jerk seasoning (I like this brand)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 small Maggi cube or 1 teaspoon Knorr bouillon
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients. Ensure you have all the ingredients you will need. This recipe requires only four – chicken, jerk seasoning, Maggi/Knorr, and olive oil. Salt is optional.
- Season the Chicken. Place the chicken into a clean big bowl and then add the rest of the ingredients (jerk seasoning, Maggi or Knorr, and olive oil. Add salt to your taste if needed. About 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon. You may need more salt if using sodium-free jerk seasoning. Use cleans or wear gloves, then combine all the ingredients. Ensure the marinade gets into every part of the chicken.
- Preheat the Air fryer. Set the air fryer to “roast,” temperature to 375, and set the time to 30 minutes. Then, preheat your air fryer. My air fryer makes a beeping sound after it’s preheated.
- Air Fry Your Jerk-Marinated Chicken Leg Quarters. Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket and cook. Turn/flip midway to cooking. Ensure that your chicken thoroughly cooks. If you need help knowing when and if they are cooked fully, please use a meat thermometer and make sure the internal temperature registers 165 F. If 30 minutes isn’t enough, please add more time and ensure your chicken is cooked properly!
- Serve and Enjoy! Serve your air fryer jerk chicken quarters with side dishes of choice.
Notes
