Air Fryer Mac and Cheese

  • 1 ½ cup elbow macaroni

  • 1 cup water

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 8 oz block sharp cheddar cheese, shredded and divided

  • 1 tsp dry mustard

Directions

  • In a deep, oven-safe dish (approximately 7 inches in diameter), combine elbow macaroni, water, heavy cream, half of the shredded cheese, dry mustard, garlic salt, and black pepper. Stir to achieve the perfect blend of flavors.
  • If your air fryer recommends preheating, do so at 360 degrees F for 3 minutes.
  • Place the dish in the air fryer basket and cook at 360 degrees F for 18-20 minutes.
  • At the halfway mark, sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top and give it a gentle stir. Close the lid and let the magic continue.
  • Once the cooking time is up, stir the mac and cheese and carefully remove the dish from the basket. Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes; during this time, the sauce will thicken.
