1 tablespoon taco seasoning

2 tablespoons water

Instructions

Cook the Beef:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.

Crisp the Tortillas:

Lightly brush or spray tortillas with oil.

Place one or two tortillas in the air fryer basket (depending on size and capacity).

Air fry at 370°F (188°C) for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden and crisp.

Assemble the Pizzas:

On one tortilla, spread a thin layer of refried beans.

Top with seasoned ground beef (about 2–3 tablespoons).

Place another tortilla on top to make a sandwich.

Spoon over some enchilada or taco sauce.

Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Air Fry the Mexican Pizza:

Carefully place the assembled pizza back into the air fryer basket.

Air fry at 360°F (182°C) for 4–5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add Toppings:

Remove from the air fryer. Let cool for 2–3 minutes.

Add toppings like tomatoes, olives, green onions, jalapeños, and a dollop of sour cream or guacamole.

Tips & Tricks

Double-crisp method: Crisp both bottom and top tortillas separately for extra crunch.

Vegetarian version: Skip the beef and use seasoned black beans or sautéed mushrooms.

Extra cheesy: Add more cheese inside between tortillas for a meltier center.

No beef? Use shredded chicken, turkey, or a meatless crumble.

Serving Suggestions

Slice into quarters like a pizza.

Serve with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, or Mexican rice on the side.

Great as a fun appetizer or main dish.
