Introduction
This Air Fryer Pull-Apart Garlic Cheese Bread is a dream come true — soft rolls stuffed with melted cheese, coated in a rich garlic butter mixture, and air-fried until golden and irresistible. It’s fast, easy, and perfect as a party appetizer, tea-time snack, or alongside pasta and soups.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8–12 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
Two tablespoons of ghee (a better substitute for butter) or unsalted butter
Two teaspoons of olive oil
One tablespoon of parsley, chopped finely
One teaspoon of Italian seasoning
Four cloves of garlic, finely chopped salt, and pepper to taste
One sourdough loaf
One cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded I like shredded cheese, but you may also use cubed cheese.
Directions
In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for 15 to 30 seconds. Stir the butter with the olive oil, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Lay the bread out horizontally and flat. Using a serrated bread knife, cut the bread diagonally, about two-thirds of the way through, without slicing through.
Keep your distance from the bread’s edges, about 1 inch from the corners. To produce little diamond shapes, flip the bread over and cut diagonally in the opposite direction.
Fill in all the nooks and crannies of the bread with the garlic olive oil butter. A cooking brush was what I used.
Then stuff each crack with the cheese. You can use cubed or shredded cheese. I like to use shredded cheese since it melts more easily than cubed cheese, which is much easier to pack into the bread.
Using a butter knife, try packing the cheese into the bread if it’s shredded. In the air fryer, put the bread.
Cook until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Before serving, let it cool.
