air fryer roasted garlic

air fryer roasted garlic

With just four ingredients and less than a half hour, you can enjoy beautifully tasty air fryer roasted garlic. You’re going to enjoy this recipe for a complete head of roasted garlic in the air fryer and be floored by how simple it is to create.

Every time I prepare roasted garlic, I wonder why I don’t make it more often. It is incredibly simple to make. You just need 4 materials and a little bit of time. Roasting garlic in the oven and roasting garlic in the air fryer requires the exact same methods and ingredients, however, the air fryer requires around half of the cooking time. That’s why I adore using my ninja foodi when feasible, it works so swiftly!

After around 20-25 minutes in the air fryer (any brand works), the garlic will begin to caramelize and turn golden brown. The bitterness garlic can have is fully gone and the texture turns like butter.

It’s Time
Two minutes for preparation
20 minutes for cooking
22 minutes in total.

Ingredients

  1. An entire head of garlic
  2. One tablespoon of olive oil
  3. 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • Place a 12-inch length of tin foil on a level surface.
  • Slice the top of the garlic head off with a sharp knife to expose portions of the cloves.
  • Drizzle olive oil over a head of garlic that has been cut side up on a square piece of aluminum foil.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Gently form a little pouch out of the foil by wrapping it around the garlic.
  • Preheat the air fryer basket to 390 degrees Fahrenheit. Garlic should be soft and golden brown after 20 to 22 minutes of air fryer cooking.
  • Enjoy after carefully removing the foil (there might be steam trapped inside).
