Air Fryer Sea Salt Chickpeas

Air Fryer Sea Salt Chickpeas — Sea salt chickpeas are a delicious snack or appetizer. Air fryers can make these delightful snacks, but the oven will work just fine if you don’t have one. The air fryer’s hot air circulates your food, cooking it evenly and quickly. It also reduces the amount of oil needed for frying foods which is great because using an air fryer is healthier than deep-frying them in oil!

Ingredients

  • 19 ounce chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2-3 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. Start by draining and rinsing the chickpeas.
  2. Toss the chickpeas with olive oil and sea salt
  3. Pour the chickpeas into the air fryer basket, set the time for 15  minutes at 390 degrees F, air fryer setting. Shake the baket several times during the cooking process.
  4. Pour the chickpeas into a bowl, and toss with an additional 1-2 teaspoons of salt. (It depends on how salty you want them, adjust to your taste buds.
  5. Plate, serve, and enjoy!
