Ingredients
For the Pasta:
250g (about 2½ cups) penne or fettuccine pasta (cooked al dente)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
200g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
100g calamari rings or scallops (optional)
½ cup diced onion
½ cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
¼ cup tomato puree or marinara sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil (chopped)
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
Instructions
Cook the Pasta:
Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Seafood Sauce (Stovetop):
In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
Sauté onion and garlic for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Add shrimp (and calamari/scallops, if using). Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes until just pink.
Stir in cherry tomatoes, cook another 1–2 minutes.
Add cream and tomato puree/marinara. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add parmesan cheese and toss in cooked pasta. Mix until well coated.
Assemble in Air Fryer-Safe Dish:
Transfer the creamy seafood pasta to an air fryer-safe baking dish.
Sprinkle the top with shredded mozzarella.
Air Fry:
Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3 minutes.
Air fry the pasta for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden on top.
To Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley or basil.
Serve with lemon wedges and garlic bread.
Tips:
You can swap shrimp for crab meat or fish chunks.
Add spinach, peas, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
For a spicy kick, add a drizzle of hot sauce before serving.
