A quick yet indulgent pasta dish packed with juicy shrimp, creamy tomato-garlic sauce, and a cheesy golden top — all finished in the air fryer for that irresistible baked finish.

Ingredients

For the Pasta:

250g (about 2½ cups) penne or fettuccine pasta (cooked al dente)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic (minced)

200g shrimp (peeled and deveined)

100g calamari rings or scallops (optional)

½ cup diced onion

½ cup cherry tomatoes (halved)

½ cup heavy cream

¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

¼ cup tomato puree or marinara sauce

Salt & pepper to taste

½ tsp paprika

¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)

2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil (chopped)

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta:

Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Seafood Sauce (Stovetop):

In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.

Sauté onion and garlic for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.

Add shrimp (and calamari/scallops, if using). Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes until just pink.

Stir in cherry tomatoes, cook another 1–2 minutes.

Add cream and tomato puree/marinara. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add parmesan cheese and toss in cooked pasta. Mix until well coated.

Assemble in Air Fryer-Safe Dish:

Transfer the creamy seafood pasta to an air fryer-safe baking dish.

Sprinkle the top with shredded mozzarella.

Air Fry:

Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3 minutes.

Air fry the pasta for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden on top.

To Serve:

Sprinkle with fresh parsley or basil.

Serve with lemon wedges and garlic bread.

Tips:

You can swap shrimp for crab meat or fish chunks.

Add spinach, peas, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
