Air Fryer Shrimp Fajitas

This air fryer shrimp fajitas is tender, plumy, and flavorful! Shrimp and peppers seasoned in the best homemade taco seasoning cooked to perfection in the air fryer in 11 minutes. Your family will well receive this quick dinner, and they will also appreciate the minimal cleanup afterward. Serve it in a tortilla with other Mexican toppings of choice, on its own, or with your favorite salad.

       300 g large or jumbo-sized shrimp
  • medium onion
  • 1 Tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 large red pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste.                             

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Cut the bell peppers and onions into thin slices and transfer to a bowl.

      • 2. Clean and devein the shrimp and place them in another bowl
      • 3. Drizzle olive oil on the peppers and onions, add 2 teaspoons of taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper, and mix to combine.

      • 4. Add the peppers and onion to the air fryer basket and spread it out evenly. Cook at 360F / 180C for 5 minutes, shaking halfway through.
      • 5. In the meantime, season the shrimp with the remaining taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper. After the first 5 minutes of cooking, stir the peppers and onions, then add the shrimp on the peppers and onions in a single layer. Cook for an additional 6 minutes, flipping the shrimp halfway through or until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.

        • 6. Add chopped cilantro and green onions to the shrimp fajitas and stir to combine.
        • 7. Serve hot with tortillas and your favorite toppings of choice, such as pico de Gallo, sour cream, and a squeeze of lime juice.
