AIR FRYER SIRLOIN STEAKS WITH GARLIC BUTTER

AIR FRYER SIRLOIN STEAKS WITH GARLIC BUTTER

Ingredients

For the Steaks:

  • 2 sirloin steaks (about 6-8 ounces each, 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions

First, get the steaks ready.
Allow to come to room temperature: After taking the sirloin steaks out of the fridge, allow them to come to room temperature for around fifteen minutes. This makes cooking more uniform.

To season the steaks, use paper towels to pat them dry. Apply a sufficient amount of salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and olive oil to both sides. Ensure that the steaks are evenly coated.
Step 2: Get the Garlic Butter ready.
Combine the ingredients: Put the softened butter, chopped parsley, minced garlic, and lemon juice (if using) in a small bowl. Stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
Put Aside: While the steaks are cooking, set aside the garlic butter so the flavors can combine.
Step 3: Get the air fryer ready.
Preheat: Set your air fryer’s temperature for approximately five minutes at 400°F (200°C). When the steaks are put in the air fryer, preheating guarantees that they will sear nicely.
Cook the steaks in step four.
The steaks should be put in the air fryer. After the air fryer has heated up, arrange the seasoned steaks in a single layer inside the basket. To ensure consistent cooking, make sure they don’t overlap.
Air Fry: Cook the steaks for 10 to 12 minutes at 400°F (200°C), turning them over halfway through. To cook medium-rare, the internal temperature should be 130°F (54°C); for medium-rare, it should be 140°F (60°C). For precision, use a meat thermometer.
Step 5: Give the steaks a break
Remove and Rest: Carefully take the steaks out of the air fryer once they are cooked to your preferred doneness. Let them rest for approximately five minutes on a plate or chopping board. This guarantees a juicy and tender steak by allowing the liquids to re-distribute throughout the meat.
Step 6: Garlic Butter is served.
Garlic Butter on Top: While the steaks are resting, take the garlic butter and generously pour it over the steaks that are hot. The butter will melt in the heat, producing a flavorful sauce.
Garnish and serve: If preferred, garnish with more chopped parsley. Serve the steaks with your preferred sides, like a fresh salad, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
How to Make the Best Sirloin Steaks in an Air Fryer
Select High-Quality Steaks: For the most taste and softness, look for sirloin steaks that have been marbling.
Use a Meat Thermometer: Check the internal temperature of your steaks with a meat thermometer to make sure they are cooked to perfection.
Modify Cooking Time: Depending on the particular air fryer type and the thickness of the steaks, cooking times may change. For optimal results, always keep an eye on the cooking process.
The Key Is Resting: After cooking, it’s important to let the steaks rest for juicy results. Don’t omit this step!
