Air Fryer Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 bell peppers
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups Colby Jack Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon fresh Italian leaf parsley
- To prepare the bell peppers, cut them in half lengthwise, then scoop out the seeds and insides.
- Add the olive oil, onion, and garlic to a medium saucepan and sauté over medium-high heat for two minutes. Cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink.
- Mix the ground beef mixture with the tomato sauce and spices. Take the pot off of the burner.
- Stir only till incorporated with the ground beef mixture after the rice has been cooked.
- Place the peppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer after stuffing them with the meat mixture.
- Cook for 10 minutes at 360 degrees Fahrenheit. After adding cheese to the peppers, simmer for a further two to three minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Before serving, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top.
