Air Fryer Taco Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
1 large flour tortilla (or low-carb/keto wrap)
1/2 cup cooked ground beef or turkey (seasoned with taco spices)
1/4 cup refried beans or taco sauce (optional, as base)
1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Mexican blend)
1 tbsp taco sauce or salsa (optional for drizzle)
Toppings: sliced jalapeños, diced tomato, chopped onions, olives, sour cream, guac (your call!)
Instructions:
Prep the Air Fryer:
Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.
Build the Base:
Spread a thin layer of refried beans or taco sauce on the tortilla.
Add Meat & Cheese:
Sprinkle your cooked taco-seasoned meat evenly.
Top generously with shredded cheese.
Air Fry:
Place tortilla pizza in the air fryer basket or on a tray.
Air fry for 4–6 minutes, or until cheese is melted and edges are crispy.
(Check around the 4-minute mark to avoid burning.)
Top & Serve:
Once out, add diced tomatoes, jalapeños, onions—whatever you love!
Slice & enjoy immediately. Optional: drizzle with sour cream or salsa.
Pro Tips:
- Need it to be crispier? To prepare the tortilla for air frying, brush the bottom of the tortilla with oil.For a crunchier texture, add crumbled tortilla chips.
- Create a double-decker by layering two tortillas with your choice of beans, meat, or cheese in between each one!
