What You Need:
- Tater Tots Frozen
- Olive oil or cooking spray
- Add salt to taste Possible:
- Spices like paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, or onion powder
How to Do It: Warm up the air fryer: Turn on your air fryer and let it heat up for a few minutes at 400°F (200°C).
Get the Tater Tots ready: In the air fryer basket, put out the frozen tater tots in a single layer. To get even cooking, don’t crowd the pan
. Spray with Cooking Oil: Brush the tater tots with cooking spray or rub them in a little olive oil. In the air fryer, this helps them get crispy.
Season: Add salt and any spices you like, like garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika, to the tater tots. Toss them gently to make sure they get a good coating. Do not use oil. Instead, use an air fryer. Cook the tater tots at 400°F (200°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, moving the basket or turning the tots over every few minutes. They are done when they are golden brown and crispy.
Check to See If It’s Done: Cooking times may be different depending on the type of your air fryer, so make sure the food is done. The outside of the tater tots should be crunchy, but the inside should be soft.
Serve: Take the tater tots out of the air fryer when they are done cooking. Put them out hot with your favorite sauce to dip them in.
