Apple Fritter Bites
Components:
- All-purpose flour (1 1/4 cups) for the Fritter Bites
- 1/4 cup of sugar, granulated
- One teaspoon of baking powder
- Half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- One-fourth teaspoon of nutmeg
- One-third cup milk and 1/4 teaspoon salt
- One huge egg
- One teaspoon of vanilla extract
- One tablespoon of melted butter
- One cup of finely chopped apples (approximately one medium apple, peeled and cored)
- Oil made from vegetables for frying
Regarding the Glaze:
One cup of powdered sugar
Two to three teaspoons of milk
Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract
Directions:
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a medium-sized bowl.
- Whisk the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter in a separate basin.
- Mix just until mixed after adding the wet components gradually to the dry ingredients.
- Add the diced apples and fold.
- In a big skillet or saucepan, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop dollops of batter into the hot oil using a spoon or tiny cookie scoop, and fry in batches.
- Cook until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove, then drain on paper towels.
Regarding the Glaze:
9. Whisk the milk, vanilla essence, and powdered sugar in a small bowl.
10. Dip the warm fritter bites completely or drizzle them with the glaze.
11. Serve right away.
