Mix in the apples that have been diced.

Deep-fry the fritters.

In a deep pan, bring two inches of vegetable oil to a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

The batter should be dropped into the hot oil in heaping spoonfuls, and the back of the spoon should be used to slightly flatten the batter.

Fry for two to three minutes on each side, or until the color is a deep golden brown.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the food, and then place it on paper towels to drain.

Putting on the Glaze

Whip the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until they are completely smooth.

Give the fritters a glaze.

The glaze can be drizzled over the top of the warm fritters or dipped into it.

Just before serving, allow the dish to rest for a few minutes on a wire rack.

Assists and Advice:

Avoid crowding the pan and fry the food in batches to ensure that it cooks evenly.

Make sure that the amounts are even by using a cookie scoop.

To give the batter an additional crunch, you can add two tablespoons of chopped pecans or walnuts.
