Ingredients
1 cup (100g) oatmeal
3 medium apples, grated
½ cup (120ml) water
1 ripe banana, mashed
100g (3.5 oz) dried blueberries
100g (3.5 oz) raisins
Optional: cinnamon, nutmeg, or mixed spice to taste
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking dish or loaf pan with parchment paper.
Prepare the Fruit Base: Grate the apples (keep the juice) and mash the banana in a large bowl until smooth.
Combine Ingredients: Add oats, water, dried blueberries, raisins, and your chosen spices. Mix well until fully combined—the mixture should be moist but not runny.
Rest the Batter: Let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the oats to absorb moisture.
Bake: Pour mixture into the prepared dish and flatten the top. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and set.
Cool & Serve: Let cool slightly before slicing.
