apple pie biscuits

 ingredients :

  1. Two cups of all-purpose flour
  2. One spoonful of baking powder
  3. Half a teaspoon of baking soda
  4. Half a teaspoon of salt
  5. 1/4 cup cold, diced unsalted butter
  6. Half a cup of buttermilk
  7. 1/2 cup of finely chopped apple pie
  8. filling Two tablespoons of brown sugar
  9. Half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  10. 1/4 cup of powdered sugar (for garnish)
  11. 1/4 tsp cinnamon (to garnish)

Directions:

  • Set the oven’s temperature to 425°F (220°C). Put parchment paper on a baking pan. Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a big bowl.
  • Incorporate the chilled, cubed butter. Blend with your fingers or a pastry cutter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
  • Add the buttermilk and stir just until incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
  • Add the ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and diced apple pie filling and blend gently. Place the dough on a surface dusted with flour.
  • Pat it gently into a rectangle that is 1 inch thick. Cut out biscuits with a round cutter. Put them on the baking sheet that has been prepared. Add 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and the granulated sugar.
  • Top the biscuits with a dusting. Bake until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Before serving, allow it cool somewhat.
