Bake the feta. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the feta is softened. Optionally, turn on the top broiler for 1 to 2 minutes to lightly brown the top of the feta. Just watch that you don’t burn the olives and sun-dried tomatoes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with crostini or sliced cucumber.
Tips:
1. Use high-quality feta cheese: Choose a block of high-quality feta cheese, such as Greek or Bulgarian, for the best flavor and texture.
2. Don’t overbake the feta: Bake the feta until it’s warm and creamy, but still holds its shape, to prevent it from becoming too soft and runny.
3. Add some sweetness with honey: Drizzle a little honey over the feta for a touch of sweetness and to balance out the saltiness.
4. Experiment with different herbs: Try using different herbs, such as rosemary or oregano, for a unique flavor and aroma.
5. Serve with crusty bread: Serve the baked feta with crusty bread or crackers for a delicious and easy snack.
