Banana Cake with Caramel Sauce

Ingredients:

– 2 1/2 cups flour
– 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup butter
– 1 1/4 cups sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
– 1/2 cup yogurt
– 1 cup mashed bananas
– 1 cup ready-made caramel sauce

Instructions:

1. Prepare a cake pan by greasing it with butter and dusting it with a little flour. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

2. Sift the flour with baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a deep bowl twice.

3. Beat the butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy and fluffy.

4. Add sugar to the butter and beat for two minutes. Then, add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla.

5. Reduce the mixer speed and add one-third of the flour, then one-third of the yogurt, and the mashed bananas, alternating until the entire quantity is used, continuing to beat until the mixture is homogeneous.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until it’s cooked through. Let it cool.

7. Divide the cake in half to create two layers. Spread half of the caramel on the first half and cover it with the second half. Then, spread the remaining caramel on the top and sides.
