beef jerky air fryer.

The best method for making beef jerky at home is to use an air fryer.

Ingredients

  1. One pound of thinly cut round or sirloin beef steak
  2. Worcestershire sauce, half a cup
  3. Half a cup of soy sauce
  4. One tablespoon of honey
  5. One teaspoon of onion powder
  6. Add more for a hot jerky, or leave off the ½ tsp chili flakes.

Directions

1. In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients.
2. Slices of beef should be cut into squares or strips.
3. Add the beef strips to the marinade, making sure the marinade covers the entire beef.
4. Put the bowl in the fridge for at least three hours or overnight.
5. Take the steak out of the marinade and use paper towels to pat dry.
6. Line the air fryer basket with beef strips in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
7. Dehydrate beef strips fully by air-frying them. After two hours of air fry time at 210°F (100°C), inspect the jerky. Continue air-frying it for 15 to 20 minutes at intervals until it’s done if it hasn’t dried entirely. [Note 2] It must reach 160°F/71°C.
8. Let the jerky cool before storing it in an airtight container.
